Introduction to Internationalization  (I18N)

At Rangsit University we like to Think Beyond Borders.  In today's ever-changing global environment we know that this mindset is essential for excellence. Furthermore, as the world globalizes, we must look for the answers of tomorrow, today.

For many first year students, the demand and expertise in their field will change significantly during their study period. We know that international awareness and exposure is important in higher education, but now, more than ever, we must prepare our students for the rapidly changing real world. At RSU we believe that this is our responsibility and obligation, both to the student and society; "Thinking Global, Living Local."

I18N Vision

Rangsit University has a vision of quality education for all; emphasizing both Knowledge and Experience for its Students, Faculty and Staff. RSU is a bilingual University, which embraces both local and global awareness.  RSU promotes international understanding and competency by integrating international elements to both academic and non-academic levels of the University.  RSU seeks for Students, Faculty and Staff to become global citizens by developing awareness and understanding of the world; we call this Internationalization.

Internationalization focuses on principles of Understanding, Respect, and Acceptance of the differences between people of different nationalities and cultures.  This includes building the inter-cultural knowledge and competencies to live, work and interact in today’s global environment.

Internationalization is a unique and ever-changing task. External factors such as technology, government and regional economic demand mean that the environment for Internationalization is continuously changing. For this reason, it is important for our internationalization efforts look to the future and adapt to our environment.

OIA monitors the progress of Internationalization in all Faculties by providing a biannual report of campus-wide and Faculty Internationalization progress. We provide KPIs to help simplify and assist Faculties with their individual plans. KPIs are based on the Internationalization Pillars and can be observed in two categories, Capacity and Output.
